Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Professor

Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in relevant subject. NET/SET/SLET is compulsory in many subjects. For some subjects, Ph.D holders can get NET exemption as per UGC rules.

Special Details for Agriculture Department

For Professor (Agriculture):

• Ph.D in Agronomy/Horticulture or related field.

• Minimum 10 research publications in peer reviewed/NAAS/UGC listed journals.

• 10 years experience in teaching/research, out of which 8 years as Assistant Professor and 2 years as Associate Professor (AGP ₹9000/Academic Level 13A).

For Associate Professor (Agriculture):

• Master’s Degree with 55% marks.

• 8 years teaching/research experience.

For Assistant Professor (Agriculture):

• Master’s Degree with 55% marks.

• NET compulsory with one NAAS rated publication.

• NET can be waived if candidate has Ph.D with course work and two NAAS publications (rating not less than 4.0).

Other departments like Law follow BAR Council of India norms. Architecture & Town Planning follows COA norms. Education follows NCTE norms.
